My Story

It is a privilege for me to say hello to you. My name is Sander Osmar, and this is my story. My family and I do not attend any church at the moment. A member of the LW staff shared the gospel and encouraged us to look for God. This happened while my grandmother, Sara Rodriguez, and I gave all this information to that person to share a little bit of my life with you, through this letter. Taking advantage of this moment, I want you to know that the feeding program is a meaningful project for my family and me. I have received many blessings there, such as groceries and dental and medical care. The one who covers my needs and expenses is my mom. Her full name is Nelly Marissel Arias Alvarez, and she is 41 years old. She makes a living as a waitress in a fast food restaurant called Al Macarone. Although she does her best to support my needs and cover the rent payment of our house, it has been difficult for her. This year, she had trouble covering my school supplies. Our greatest needs are groceries and shoes. As for my father, let me tell you that I do not have any information about him. I hope he is doing well wherever he is. Fortunately, my whole family is in good health.

Now, let me tell you more about me. I am a healthy 11-year-old boy, and this year, I was in fourth grade. I prefer to receive face-to-face classes because I learn and understand the lessons so much better. However, I used to get good grades when I worked on study guides. My dreams are to become a policeman, and speak English when I grow up. Christmas is the best time of the year because I enjoy burning firecrackers and spending time with my loved ones. There are many things that you can do to celebrate your birthday. In my case, I love going out with my family and having a delicious cake to celebrate a new year of life. My favorite drink is Coca-Cola, and I like soccer. I say goodbye to you for now, but if you want to hear something else from me, do not hesitate to ask me.

Kind regards,

Sander Osmar Rojas Arias
