Hello! How are you? I am happy to write you this letter. I am Diego Ismael De La Cruz Chingo, and I am 15 years old. I no longer attend school. I keep busy working as a day laborer, and sometimes, I work in a tile and brick factory; I help my mother financially. My mother is a single parent and does her best to cover our needs. She earns a living doing the laundry for others and weaving typical clothes for selling. We were emotionally and economically affected by this pandemic, but we could overcome that situation; we had to reduce our expenses, and thankfully, we received support from Living Water.
God has never abandoned us and has kept us safe from the virus. We are healthy and we are attending the Catholic Church on Wednesday, Friday and Sunday; the mass lasts two hours. We were blessed with grocery bags through the feeding program, and we could cover some of our needs. I am grateful to the Ministry for supporting needy families like mine. Lastly, I want to tell you that my mother helped me to give this information by phone to a LW Evangelism collaborator. The staff did not meet us personally because they are avoiding physical contact as much as possible since they want to protect us from the current virus. I wish you the best in life.
Hugs and kisses
Diego Ismael De La Cruz Chingo
