My Story

I send you every kind of blessing in this wonderful day! This is Deisy Aracely Jimon Garcia and it is a blessing for me to tell you that my parents are thankful for the support LW Adopt-A-Child has given to many children in need through the years. They also pray for this wonderful Project. I was registered last year and I enjoy learning the verses from the Bible after lunch time.

As a family, we are seeking God in the Prince of Peace Christian Church, and we love our church because when we worship God, we feel full of his joy. I like to listen the sermons, and when we return to the house, I enjoy speaking about it with my family. We are assured of our salvation because we have accepted him in our hearts as our Lord and Savior. We will be in heaven someday and the LW teacher encouraged my mother to continue trusting him and prayed for our health and well-being.

I live with my parents at home. My father sustains the family financially by doing farm jobs and he also is a day laborer. My mother continues dedicating her time to the family. She is a stay-at-home-mom and she contributes with some money when she sells her hens. In addition, the whole family travels to the coast to pick coffee beans to earn extra money to cover our needs. I want to tell you that we are planning to travel again this year for the harvest season. Thankfully, my whole family and I are in good health. I play with dolls at home and I am in 2^nd grade this year. I am nine years old and I enjoy eating ice creams and “granizadas” (crushed ice covered with fruit flavors) during hot days, so I prefer hot weather. Thank you for reading my little story because I send it with much love!
