It is a great joy in my heart to greet you through this hoping our Lord is blessing you! This is Ana Maria Garcia Ruiz. I am now 10 years old. I am receiving my classes on the morning shift, and I attend 4th grade this year. I still enjoy playing with my dolls. My mother stays busy with the chores and weaves typical items. She also raises hens and pigs. My father works both as a farmer and day laborer to supply our needs. Moreover, he goes to pick coffee beans on the coast in October and November. We grow beans and corn for our food. We are members of the Assembly of God Church; my parents have welcomed Jesus into their hearts.
I want you to pray for my mother´s and sister´s health. My mother suffers from cramps in her stomach and only takes some pills to relieve the pain because we do not have the resources to visit a doctor. My sister Estela suffers from attacks and convulsions, and due to limited resources, my parents have not taken her to the doctor. Since she cannot hear very well, she just stutters and gets mad with us because we do not understand what she wants to say. She screams and runs aways from home. The rest of my family and I are fine.
The Christmas celebration in the feeding program is very special and I love the carols and games the team prepares for us. Living Water has blessed my lives in many ways, especially with food and medical care in the clinics. I love the meals from the program, but my favorite is hamburger patties. Finally, let me tell you that my mother gave this information to the LW team to update you about me. I love you. I pray our almighty God takes care of you wherever you go!
Bunch of hugs,
Ana Maria Garcia Ruiz
