My Story

Hello dearest sponsor!  I hope that you are in good health and I wish you many blessings.  Thanks to God, my family and I are well.  My father works in a place where they make bricks and roofing tiles.  My mother is a housewife and takes care of some domestic animals.  She also weaves typical items.  I have three sisters and two brothers.  My sisters help with the chores and they also weave.  One of my brothers helps my father, and the other is working in the United States and helps us with our expenses.  I only finished 4th grade in 2017, and I did not continue studying because my father was not able to help with my school expenses.  This year, I started to work as a shoe shiner.  I work three times a week, and the rest of the time, I help my father.  For Christmas, my family makes tamales and hot chocolate, and at midnight, we light firecrackers.  My dream is to work as a mason because I like construction.  In my free time, I like to play ball or go out with my friends.  My family and I attend Mount Sinai church, and I like to sing and to pray.  I want to ask for your prayers for my life and for my parents because they are taking care of us.  Thank you very much for the food and the medicines that I receive at the feeding program.  They are a big help for my family and me.  I say goodbye to you with lots of hugs.  May God bless you!

Blessings and much love,

Rolando Chingo Chingo
