My Story

I greet you in Jesus’ love. My name is Juan Carlos, and I want to share with you about my family and me. I am doing well, and I am in good health. I am 13 years old, and I am in 6^th grade. In my free time, I help my father with his farm chores. We have summer and winter seasons here in Guatemala, and for me, both are nice and good. For about 4 years, I have been attending the feeding program, and I have enjoyed my time there. My mom was part of the program too when she was a child, and she remembers the discipleship classes; they are good memories for her. Thanks to her experience at the program, she took the good decision to register us in it.

I like attending church, and little by little, I am taking part in the youth activities. We are members of Prince of Peace Church, and when we attend it, we feel at peace and our hearts are filled with God’s Love. Our trust is in God, so we believe we will enter His kingdom someday. Please pray for our health and daily provision. My parents work hard to cover our needs. My father works as a farmer and day laborer, and he is in good health. My mom works hard at home and sells her hens to help with the home income. She suffers from high blood pressure and is taking medicine to control it; please pray for her. We are sharing our house with my married siblings and their families. I say goodbye to you for now.
