My Story

Hello! good morning. My name is Angel Matias Chamorro Cardona and I was enrolled in the Feeding Center 2 years ago. My father also belonged to this place when he was a child until he was 23 years old. His experience was beautiful because he enjoyed the special activities and delicious meals there. He decided to register my siblings and me and I love to attend. By the grace of God, my family and I are doing fine. My father earns a living by driving a moto taxi and my mother dedicates her time to the family and they live with us. Unfortunately, my mother is suffering from a gastric ulcer and she is receiving medical treatment from Public Center Health while my father and the rest of my family are in good health.  We received a visit from LW teacher and she prayed for us and also for my parents that they may guide us in God’s path. My mother shared my information and she is thankful for the Gospel. Thankfully, we are assured to go to heaven someday because we believe in God. We are obedient and we have our faith in him. He is our savior and we enjoy persevering in House of Prayer Christian Church. I like to color drawings in Sunday School. We feel his presence and it is the reason to seek him.

I am happy because I am in pre-kinder grade and I am 5 years old. I like to sweep floors and I pick up my toys at home. Hot weather is my favorite because I love to play with water. My grandmother and uncles are living with us at home and my uncles share the payments for the running water and electricity with my father. Thank you for taking the time to read my letter.
