Hello! I am Maria Odilia Gomez Lopez, and I am glad to greet affectionately you through this. I am fifty-seven years old. I am a single mother since many time ago. I have one son and one daughter. I do not work, I just dedicate my time taking care of my grandchildren. My son is a mason’s assistant. He provides for me economically. I like to visit my daughter who is a housewife, and my grandchildren. As for health, let me tell you that I am a diabetc person and am sick with hypertension. Thankfully, I already visited to the doctor and I am under a medical treatment. Every month, I go to the local health center for treatment. So now, I cannot eat fatty food or drink coffee. Food supplies is a greatest need for me, that’s why, I thank to the feeding program for the grocery bags I received in difficult time. It was all a great blessing to me. I also thank to the Living Water staff for the support I have received from them. May God bless each one of them. Thanks to God, the feeding program is open again after being closed due to the pandemic. For me to get there, it takes ten minutes.
I rent two-room house made of mud-brick, dirt floor and tin sheet roof which is in poor condition, for the tin sheets are deteriorated. I cook the meals within one room. The house has electricity and running water. My son is the one who pays for those services. We are not attending any church, at the moment. I was encouraged by one member from the Evangelism team to attend a church and seek God. We do not usually celebrate Christmas. Finally, I want you to know I gave this information in person to an Evangelism team member to share with you my last news. I say good bye to you for now. May God continue to bless you!
