My Story

My full name is Keyla Jimena Ordonez Lopez, and it is such a blessing to share a little about my life with you through this letter. I am 17 years old and I am so happy because I am almost near the end of high school. I am in the second year (11^th grade) of a training in computers. I have attended the feeding program for almost seven years, which has been a great blessing. My parents are grateful for the food as well as medical and dental care that I have received at LW-Adopt A Child, thanks to the loving support of many good-hearted people like you. By the grace of the Lord, my whole family and I are in good health. In my free time, I usually help my mother with the chores. I like the cool environment, so I prefer cold weather rather than hot.

About my spiritual life, I tell you that I have the privilege to serve in the sisterhood of Jesus. My family and I are Catholic people, and the service motivates us to persevere and be better to please God. I appreciate that sister Raquel (a member of the LW staff) recently encouraged my older sister Jennifer to continue persevering to keep a solid relationship with God. She is a clever lady girl, who works as a middle-high school teacher and studies at the university. My mother is a very busy housewife, while my father works in a factory to support our family. Could you please pray for one of my uncles? He suffers from health issues, but we trust that God will do a miracle in his life.
