Hello! I am Maria Morente, and I am writing this letter to update my information for this year. I tell you that I am 15 years old, and I no longer attend school due to my family’s low resources. It was so hard for me to stop studying, but I am grateful to God for the years He let me attend school. I tell you that I went to work in a tortillas business with my aunt. I only worked for one month (in June), but I did help my family financially. Since we were little children, Juanita and I have been friends, and we love talking about our personal things.
My family member with whom I identify most is my mother because of her character and physical traits. My mom works hard at home, and she is always attentive to the family. My father is working as a day laborer in the sugar plantations at the coast. He frequently comes home to bring us money and spends time with the family. Thankfully, my parents are both in good health. My mom helped me to give my information to the Evangelism team, and they took advantage of this to share God’s word with us since we are not attending a church. I hope my parents take a good decision soon. May God bless you!
Sincerely yours
Maria Morente Baten
