My Story

I am very happy to have the opportunity to communicate with you again through this letter. I hope you are well. This is Walter Josue Danilo Riz Ruiz, and I am 13 years old now. I attend school in 6th grade. Let me tell you about my best friend, Sergio. We have been friends since we were children, and we enjoy talking. I identify more with my mother since she is the one with whom I spend the most time. For me, God is the same God, both before and now. I want to share with you that one of the most difficult situations I have ever had to face has been having to work to buy my own shoes because what my father earns is not enough to cover this type of expense. God has been merciful to me and blessed me with good health.

I have very hard-working parents with whom I live happily. My father Vicente, works both as a farmer and as a day laborer. Currently, he is planting corn. My mother is Claudia, but in our town, the people know her as “Juanita”. She earns a living selling “yucca cocida” which is a typical snack. Thanks to God, my family is well. We attend a Christian church called “Church of Christ”. The religious activity I like the most are vigils. I really appreciate that the evangelism teachers shared the gospel with us to encourage us to continue persevering in God's ways. I would like to ask for your prayers that God will give us the opportunity to repair our house because we live in rooms made of sheet which are in poor condition. Thank you for taking the time to read my information. Well, that is all for now, and I hope to hear from you soon.

Lots of love and kisses,

Walter Josue Danilo Riz Ruiz
