My Story

Hello! This is Sergio, and I am happy to write this letter and tell you about my life. My father’s name is Ciriaco, and he is 32 years old. He is in good health, and he works as a farmer or day laborer; he also goes to pick coffee beans at the coast from November to December. My mother’s name is Magdalena, and she is 30 years old. She is in good health, and she sometimes weaves typical belts for selling and helping with the income. We are a humble family, and our greatest needs are groceries, clothes and corn. We have cows and hens at home, and we sell them when they grow up. We also grow corn, but it is for our consumption. We are members of Prince of Peace Pentecostal Church, and we attend services on Monday. LW Evangelism team shared the gospel with us, and we are assured in our Salvation.

My full name is Sergio Mariano Grave Calachij, and I am 16 years old. I no longer attend school, so I am now working as a day laborer or farmer in my town. I help my family financially. I would like to become a mechanic. My favorite celebration is Christmas because I enjoy sharing time with my family. I love drinking pineapple juice, and I prefer soccer as a sport. It would be incredible to learn English someday. Now that I already work, I celebrate my birthday together with my family, and I share a special dish with them. I am in good health thanks to God. Living Water is very important for me because there is not another place in our town where we receive good treatment and many blessings like we have at the feeding program.
