Hello! My name is Sergio Mariano Grave Calachij, and it is a pleasure for me to greet you through this. I am fifteen years old. I am not attending school, so now, I help with the household work. Thanks to God, the feeding program is open again. It is located fifteen minutes away from home by walking. I thank God for this program because in difficult times due to the pandemic, I received grocery bags, when products of daily consumption rose in price, and no money was enough. As food supplies, clothing and shoes are needs for us, everything was a great blessing at home. May God bless all the people who made it possible! Everything is going well for now, and we are all doing well, thankfully.
My dad does farm work and travels to the coast to pick coffee grains or he does land clearing work there. It takes place in the end of the year, and he travels there along with all of us in the family. My mom raises some domestic animals to help my dad with the household expenses. When my dad comes back from the coast, we make tamales or get some cake to eat altogether. We do not usually celebrate Christmas because on this day we are at the coast picking coffee grains. We attend Prince of Peace Church, located three minutes away from home by walking. During the time the church was closed due to the pandemic, we got sad for not being able to attend it, so we prayed at home instead. The two-room house we live in is ours. It has a separate kitchen, and it is made of adobe, tin sheet roof and dirt floor. It does have running water and electricity. The house condition is good. Finally, I want you to know that my mom gave this information to an Evangelism team member to share with you my last news. I say goodbye to you for now. Thank you for reading this. My best regards,
Sergio Mariano Grave Calachij
