My Story

Hello! My name is Amara Leka. I am 3 years old and my birthday is on February 14^th. I am doing well and enjoy good health. My favorite color is pink and my future dream is to become a Balerine.I started to frequent kindergarten and I like to play with dolls.The house in which we live offers appropriated living conditions. We are four persons in my family who are my father, mother my older brother my older sister and I.My father emigrates in Greece  and works part time there.We own land as family, my mother plants vegetables for consumption as peppers, tomatoes, beans, onions, etc. We also have fruit trees and grapes around our land and garden.  My family faces financial hardships and we live with small income, same as the majority of the families in the village. We are thankful to the sponsorship programme for the help we are receiving constantly. God bless you! I frequent the church together with my mother also my grand mother have open the door for ladys bible studies.

The LW/Adopt a Child church meets for the weekly service on Monday and Wednesday. During those days of the week, the church has Bible classes for small children as well as three Bible studies in small groups for ladies and men. The children,widow and persons in need  who are registered in the sponsorship programme of Adopt a Child are constantly every eight weeks receiving a food package containing pasta, rice, oil, sugar, etc. This package has been a blessing to each child and family in the village.
