My Story

Hello! My name is Eshli. I am 5 years old and my birthday is on July 15th. I am doing well and I am in good health. I go to preschool, and I enjoy going there every day. My favorite subject is reading, because I am learning the letters and I like to read simple words. My favorite color is pink and I love wearing pink clothes and playing with pink toys.  When I grow up, I want to become a dancer because I love dancing and moving when I hear music. I like to dance at home and show my family my little performances. I help my family by collecting and putting away my toys after I finish playing. In my free time, I enjoy playing with my sister and our toys, and we have a lot of fun together.

I live in Tirana, on a apartment together with my parents, my siblings and my grandmother. We are a big family and we support each other. My father works as a driver, and my grandmother also works, but the salaries they earn are not very high. Because of this, it is sometimes difficult for our family to meet all our needs. My mother does not work, because she stays at home and takes care of all of us. I am very thankful to the Living Water Adopt a Child program for the help and support they give to my family through food assistance and spiritual care. I attend the church of the program every Thursday together with my mom and my siblings and I always have a very nice and peaceful time there. Thank you from my heart, and may God bless you all!
