My Story

Hello! My name is Isabel Isufi. I am 9 years old and my birthday is on June 24th. I am doing well and in good health! My favorite color is purple. My future dream job is to become a vet because I love to take care of animals. I am in elementary school. My favorite subject is math. I like to play with dolls and Barbie is my favorite. I also play outside with my friends different kind of games and I have a lot of fun with them. Every Wednesday I go to church with my mom and I really like the stories they tell us. At home I try to help my mom with the housework and grocery shop.
I live in Polican with my parents and my brother. We don't have a house, so we rented one. Dad works wherever he can find and doesn't have a stable job. He is not working full time and receives a small pay, just to cover whatever is most needed for our family. While my mom doesn't work because she takes care of me and my brother. She is also busy cooking, cleaning, doing the shopping, walking with us every morning at school, etc. I am thankful to the program of Adopt a Child for the generous support as they are offering to us spiritual care through the church in Polican, as well as food package for our family. I frequent the church in Polican together with my mother. We enjoy participating in all the activities of the church. Thank you from my heart and God bless you!
