My name is Klevi. I am 11 years old and my birthday is on March. I am doing well and in good health. My favorite color is black and my future dream is to become football player. I passed the fifth grade of school. I enjoyed learning and did well at school, especially on English, since this was my favorite subject I enjoyed to study best. I go out to play football with my friends early in the mornings, since the summer is very hot here where I live. We meet to play in the sport field of the school and after playing, I go inside the house. I like to get together with my older brother so we can help our family together, doing shopping or whatever our parents ask us to do for them. Sometimes, when my brother goes out for walks he takes me also with him. My older brother goes to the same school I go and we attend the program together. We are happy to learn about the Lord in the Bible classes of the program and we receive food packages every two months. We are so thankful for the spiritual and physical help offered by the program of Adopt a Child.
I live in a village near the town of Prrenjas. We visit the town very often, especially during the weekends, when they have the open market day. My parents were badly hurt after a car accident and for this reason, for a long time they remained invalids. At present, they are both a bit better and can move. They are not able to do hard jobs, as working in the fields or raising animals, so they have only gotten three goats. My father goes to shepherd the goats and we have a bit milk for consumption. During this year, with the help of other family members, my parents have planted alfalfa and oat so that we have food provision from planting in the land, instead of buying it. My mother stays in the house to clean, cook and do whatever needs to be done to keep the house in order. The government gives to them an invalid pension and this pension is very small. We are financially challenged and with a lot of other hardships on our family. Thank you for your generous support to us. God bless you.
