My Story

Hello! My name is Klaudio. I am 3 years old and my birthday is in September. I am happy to share with you about myself and my family through the questions that the team of Adopt a Child is asking me. I am doing well and in good health. Speaking about my favorite color, I like all colors and this is because I like to do lots of coloring. I desire to become a medical doctor when I grow up and after I study well at school. I go to kindergarten here in the village where I live and enjoy learning new things and playing with toys with my classmates. We learn poems by heart and do lots of singing and dancing. After the lesson hour, our teacher takes us outside to spend time playing in nature. We also take short distance walks. I spend the first part of my day at kindergarten and at midday, my mother comes to take me from there and together we walk to reach in the house. After I eat lunch, I like to go outside and play with my friends and cousins who live near my house. We meet to play in the roads and our games are simple. During the day, while I am inside the house, I like to draw and color, play with my toys and watch cartoons or programs for children on television. I have three members in my family who are my father, mother and I. We live in a village that belongs to the community of Prrenjas and this town is close. We travel there whenever we need to do shopping. We have no hospital or clinics in our village and when we need to get a visit from the doctor, we need to go to the hospital of the town. The town has also the community offices and we go there when we need to receive different services needed. Our house is in good condition of living. We own our land and my father deals with farming, planting vegetables and crops for consumption. The farming is not very beneficial and for this reason, my father emigrates in Greece and works there for a season or two during the year. Sometimes he gets hired in construction and other times in agriculture. We miss him while he works far from the house, but we are happy that he can work and provide for us. My mother, works on our vegetable garden while I am in kindergarten and afterwords, she does housekeeping. She gets very busy all day long because she needs to do a lot of work as well. Besides crops and vegetables we have fruit trees. After collecting the fruits, my mother boils them to turn to jam or fruit juice for consumption. Through planting, we only provide for consumption and cannot sell anything and this is because the land produces very little. I am happy I got registered in the sponsorship program of Adopt a Child, after frequenting regularly in the Bible classes and church services together with my other friends who go there. I am happy that have the possibility to learn about the Lord through the Bible lessons and from now on, I will start to receive food packages constantly.
