My Story

Hello! My name is Jores Leka. I am 3 years old and my birthday is on October 15^th. I am in good health. My favorite color is green and my future dream is to be a singer. My parents have bought to me a few car toys because I like to play with cars. I also like cartoons that speak about characters who are drivers and drive trucks and cars. I go to kindergarten from morning till midday and there we learn to read, write and count for a few hours. After that, we play with toys and have a wonderful time. When I return in the house, I go to play outside with my friends who live near my house. I like to play with ball, hide and seek, I like running , etc.My family and I live in one of the community centers of Pogradec. My family is contained by my father, mother, grandfather,grandmother and I. My father works in fields with crops . My mother is doing the cleaning, cooking and she is also needed to stay inside the house to care for me. We are financially challenged  I am very thankful to the programme of Adopt a Child for the food package that I benefit every eight months. I go to the Bible classes and there I learn about the Lord Jesus. Thank you for your generous help and God bless you! The LW/Adopt a Child church  meets for the weekly service on Monday and Wednezday. During those days of the week, the church has Bible classes for small children as well as Bible studies in small groups for ladies and men. The children who are registered in the sponsorship programme of Adopt a Child are constantly every eight weeks receiving a food package containing pasta, rice, oil, sugar, etc. This package has been a blessing to each child and family in the village.
