My Story

Hello, my name is Jose Saturnino Solis Molina. I am 55 years old. I was born on November 29, 1969 in La Antigua Guatemala. I never got married and did not have children. I do not have a house; I live on the streets. During the day I walk around the streets, and at night I sleep in a corridor in front of the National Hospital. I have been living on the streets for 12 years because one of my brothers evicted me from my house saying that it was his right to have it.  I do not have a stable job; I collect cans or bottles on the streets every day to earn some money to buy food. I earn 5.00Q = $0.65 per day. Many times, I feel sad about my situation because I don’t have a family, house or food. I ask for your prayers to God so that he may comfort my soul and give me his peace and joy. As for my health, I suffer from pain in one of my knees Also, I am losing my hearing. I do not have any treatment for lack of economic resources.

I cannot attend church because I have some bags and a backpack with my belongings, and I do not have any place to leave them while I attend church. I hope to attend a church someday. I am thankful to you for taking your time to read my letter, and I send you many blessings in the name of Jesus.
