My Story

Hello! My full name is Angelica Ordonez Mechen and it is a blessing for me to send you my updated information. I live with my mother at home and we are doing well. My mother makes a living to provide for our basic needs by working as a farmer, weaving typical clothing and raising hens because she is the only one that sustains the family. I help her to do laundry. I am in 2^nd grade this year and I am a nine-year-old girl. My favorite weather is cold because I love my warm sweaters.

I would like to play an instrument someday in my church. As you know, we are members of the Catholic Church. We attend the church because God has been faithful to our lives. We already have accepted Jesus in our hearts, so we are secure in our salvation. My mother was encouraged by the LW teacher to continue trusting God, and she would like to ask for your prayers for my whole family and our well-being.

I want you to know that my mother is thankful for the support that I have received in the Feeding Program for four years, and she registered me because the people from our village were talking about the great benefits for free. I also like to attend the Bible classes because I sing to God. Thank you for reading my news. Blessings to you!
