My Story

Good morning! I feel so blessed to be part of this Project. My grandmother enrolled me because she heard about the delicious meals and medicines for free. She is thankful for every benefit and support for me and many children. We are believers and we attend the Catholic Church. We enjoy learning about God and we feel encouraged by people that follow him. We are assured to go to heaven because we accepted him as our savior. The LW teacher prayed for my brother and me that we may continue following God paths.

My name is Efrain Rolando Poncio Rodriguez and I am doing well. I prefer hot weather and I like to shepherd the sheep. I am ten years old and I am in 4^th grade. I live with my maternal grandmother and she takes care of my brother and me since my mother abandoned us. My father and brother live with me and my brother is working as a mason`s helper to contribute to the home expenses. My father is a farmer and day laborer and my grandmother does the chores at home and continues raising hens and sheep to sell and earn some money to cover some of our needs. Thankfully, my older uncles also support her with the home expenses. By the grace of God, everything at home goes well and I am thankful to God because we are in good health. Thank you for taking the time to read my letter. I wish you all the best!
