My Story

I am Juan Abraham Israel Soc De Leon and it is such a blessing to share with you a little about my life. I am 6 years old and fortunately, I am in good health. I still do not attend school because my parents do not have enough resources to support my education. I want you to know that LW-Adopt A Child has blessed me with delicious food and medicine for about one year. What I like the most is praying during the Bible lessons that I receive before having my meals. My favorite pastime is playing soccer and I like hot weather because I can go swimming in the river. When I grow up, I want to be a musician and take part in the worship band of my church. My family and I are glad to be part of the Pentecostal United Church and what motivates us to persevere are activities that help us to increase our faith such as the services and fasting.

I tell you that my mother is a faithful woman, who accepted Jesus in her heart some years ago. She is dedicated to taking care of our family and strives to contribute to the household expenses. She raises and sells chickens alongside my older sister, while my father continues working as a day laborer and farmer. It is time to say goodbye, but I send you huge hugs.
