My Story

Hello, everybody! My heart is overjoyed for having the opportunity to let you know about my life. I want to start this letter by expressing to you how blessed I am for being part of the feeding program. I am Yoselin Briseida Toj Garcia and I have enjoyed delicious food for about two years. I also receive Bible lessons and I like them so much because I learn more about God. I am 6 years old and I still do not attend school. I hope to do it next year. I stay home and I usually help my mother to sweep. I like wearing my favorite sweaters, so I prefer the cold weather rather than hot. What I like the most about the services at my church is the worship time. I am pleased to tell you that my family and I are in good health.

We are members of the Assembly of God Church, and my mother has assurance of her salvation because she received Jesus in her heart. She keeps busy doing the chores and taking care of my siblings and me. She also raises domestic animals to sell in order to contribute to the expenses. As you know, my father traveled to the United States a few years ago. He works hard at a poultry farm to survive. Luckily, he is often in touch with us and sends us money every month. To end this short letter, I want you to know that my mother helped me to provide all this information to brother Mario (a member of the LW staff). He took advantage of the opportunity to encourage my mother to continue placing her trust in God. Have a wonderful day!
