My Story

Hello! My name is Frenkli Hoxholli. I am 8 years old and my birthday is on April 13th. I am doing well and my health is good. My favorite color is gray and my future dream is to study and become police officer. I go to school in second grade and enjoy the time I spend there learning and playing after the lesson hours with my classmates. I like going to school and learning systematically. My favorite subject this year is Mathematics. I like calculating and solving the Math problems that we have on our exercise books. After school, I go out to play with my friends and cousins who live near my house. I have a bicycle too and now that the weather is nice and sunny, I am riding the bicycle around, near my house. My brother is 9 years old. He and I go to school together and we spend quite a lot of time playing inside the house, riding our bicycles and after playing together we help our mother to clean the house. When we study, our mother stays near us so that she can check our homework and help us study well. My brother is also in the program and we go there together. We enjoy going in the Bible classes where we learn about the Lord and we are happy for the food packages we receive constantly. I live in a village near Perrenjas. We visit this town often, especially during weekends when they have the open market day. Our house offers good conditions for us. I have in my family six members and they are my grandparents, who recently started to live with us, my parents, as well as my brother. My grandparents are retired and because they are old age, my father cares for them and he supplies their every living need. My father worked this year again in Greece for three months. He got hired in agriculture and in Greece he receives a better pay, providing this way a better income for our family. My father continues to work wherever he can, here in the village when he gets hired to work in the lands or when people hire him while doing repairs in their houses. We are also dealing with farming, so my parents have planted quite a whole lot in the fields we own to provide stock food for the cow. At present, they feed the cow in the fields, because it is spring but during the winter they feed it inside. Every year, my father sells the calves delivered from the cow and this way, he gets a bit more of income which is used in our family where needed the most. My mother planted recently the vegetables, and she is too busy watering them every day till they grow and are ready to be collected from our garden for consumption in our family. We live with low income and we are happy for every help and support coming through the program. Thank you for your generosity and care! God bless you
