My Story

Hello and greetings. I am Renis telling my story for you through the questions asked by the sponsorship program team. I am 4 years old and my birthday is on May 27^th. I am a healthy child. My favorite color is red. I prefer this color best because it shows love and I want to be a loving boy to my parents, family and friends. I like to spend time to play with toys. I have car toys that I use to play inside the house as well as a ball which I take with me when I go to play outside with my friends. I have a step brother and usually we play outside together and we share our toys when we are in the house. After playing we sit to watch cartoons for a while and we also do lots of coloring in the papers that our parents draw for us. I spend the first part of the day in kindergarten and my mother brings me and my step brother there walking every morning. She comes to kindergarten to take us from there and walk us back in the house at midday. We like to go to kindergarten to play and learn. Now that the weather is nice, our teacher brings us to play outside in nature. My family is contained from four persons. They are my mother, step father, step brother and I. My mother before was previously married and after they broke up, she remarried and I like with my step father and step brother. I have no care from my own father. My step father is working in town where he is hired by people who want him to move staff like washing machines, carry and pile fire wood for them, etc. Sometimes he goes to factories where they unload trucks of flour, or in supermarkets where they unload their staff they sell. With this job he is earning too less to supply our needs and sometimes we are very challenged financially. My mother is jobless. She is dedicated to be close to my step brother and me so that she can care for us. My mother gets busy as well doing cleaning, cooking and the rest of the housekeeping. I am happy that I got registered to the program together with my step brother. We are receiving food packages as well as spiritual care. We enjoy going regularly to the Bible classes of the program and since we receive two food packages, that means, we have 24 meals covered from the program for our family.
