My Story

Hello! It is such a blessing to write this letter to share with you a little about my life. First of all, I want you to know that thanks to many good-hearted people like you, I have received medical care and spiritual assistance at the feeding program for about one year and a half. My full name is Pablo Isaac Cabrera Chen, and I like participating in the Bible classes; the evangelism team shares stories and significant teachings with us every Wednesday. My mother is grateful to the staff because my siblings also could receive love and blessings there. Today, we are keeping well. I am 11 years old and attend school as a fifth grader. I like the hot weather because I enjoy playing with water.

At home, I sweep, clean the table, and run errands to help my mother with the chores. She strives to support our family, but it has been challenging for her since my father passed away. Please, pray for us. My mother works as a domestic employee, but does not earn much. We are four children at home. I have three sisters, but one of them is adopted and lives in another place. My older biological sister is in high school and still lives with us; my mother covers her education. On the other hand, my second biological sister lives and studies in a non-profit boarding school. I tell you that brother Juan Carlos (a member of the LW staff) recently shared the gospel with my mother and me, which was a blessing. We are members of a Charismatic Catholic Church called Saint Paul. We feel motivated to get there because of the unity you can feel there. We are doing our best to follow Jesus and serve him, so we trust to be admitted in Heaven someday. It is time to say goodbye, but I hope this information helped you to learn a little about me.

With much love,

Pablo Isaac Cabrera Chen
