My Story

Hello, I am so grateful to write this short update for you. I pray you are doing well and enjoying many blessings from God. Thank you for taking the time to read my information. I know God led you to my profile for a purpose. My name is German Osvaldo Luis de la Cruz. I am seven years old, and I am in first grade now. Thankfully, my family and I are doing well and in good health. This is a blessing because when I was younger, I used to get sick a lot, but now I am healthy. God has been faithful in my life, and He has always helped me. My parents are doing well. My mom’s name is Lidia de la Cruz de la Cruz. She is so special to me because she loves me so much. She embroiders typical blouses and sells them as a little business. This is how she makes money to help support our family. My dad also provides for us financially. His name is Alfonso Luis Ponce. He works in the capital city. He leaves for three months at a time and comes back to two weeks to spend time with us. In the capital he works as someone who loads and unloads and carries heavy packages and luggage for people on public buses. He always calls us while he is away for work, and he sends us money at the end of each month.

We go to church together at Prince of Peace Pentecostal Church. We love going to the weekly services, but it is always exciting when we do the special service for the anniversary of the church each year. My mom is strong in her faith, and she is saved by Jesus. I learned that God is my Heavenly Father. I give Him thanks for all the things I have. I especially thank Him for putting my best friend in my life. His name is Yeison. We have been friends for two years, and we love playing cars together. I say goodbye now, but I hope you enjoyed reading my update. I send much love and big hugs to you and your loved ones.

Hugs and kisses,

German Osvaldo Luis de la Cruz
