My Story

Hello! How are you? I hope this finds you in good health. I pray God blesses you for supporting children like me. I am Emely Celestina, and I am 6 years old. I am in good health, and I am attending kindergarten this year. I have to walk for 20 minutes to arrive at school, so I have to wake up early to have enough time to get there on time; it has been one experience that has impacted my life. I am sure God has taken care of me on my way all this time. I met Jasmi last year, and now, she is a good friend to me; we like talking about our personal things. I like helping my mother to feed the hens; she is the person with whom I identify most.

Now, my father is working as a “cargador” (he carries heavy packages from one place to another) in Guatemala City. He comes home every month to stay with us for fifteen days, and then he returns to the city. My mother is doing her best to take care of the family and do all the household chores. She also raises hens, and sometimes, she sells them. We love all the activities done at our church, and we are members of one called Prince of Peace “New Covenant”. We are secure in our Salvation, and we have been encouraged to continue seeking God. We live far away from the feeding program, but I am happy to be part of it. I hope you find my information interesting
