My Story

Hello! My name is Enea. I am 14 years old and my birthday is on June. I am doing well and in good health. My favorite color is blue and my future dream is to become a Police. I have spent the summer months off we take from school helping my parents while we get too busy carrying for our goats and dealing with farming. I spend a part of my day playing football with my friends and we usually go to play in the sport field of the school. The school starts on September, and I will frequent it again for the first part of my day. I enjoy going to school and learning and my favorite subject that I like to study the best in my classes is Mathematics. I miss already my classmates that I have not seen during the summer and am very excited that we will meet again to learn as well as to engage in games and fellowship. I am collecting during this month the supplies that I will need for a fresh start of school and have visited the school to take my class books which are delivered for free. My parents usually buy for me suit outfits and sport shoes and jeans trousers every time that school starts. I live in a village that belongs to the community of Prrenjas. We go to this town very often, when we need to shop or when my parents need to visit the community offices to receive different services offered only in the offices of this town. We also go to Prrenjas when we need to see the specialist doctors because we have no hospital in our village. I have six members in my family. Our house offers good living conditions to us. My family owns the land, and my father deals with farming. He plants in the land what will be used as stock food for animals. We raise goats and my father shepherds them daily during the spring and summer. Afterwards they are feed inside with the food that gets provided by what is planted in the land. My father sells goats every time he has an opportunity several goats and dairy. With the amount collected he tries to meet all our needs of living we all have. My mother usually plants on spring the vegetable garden and till September we consume fresh and bio products like peppers, tomatoes, etc. Around our land and garden we have also fruit trees like apples, plums, etc. My parents collect the fruits and my mother makes out of them juice or jam. My mother besides working in the land, garden and carrying for the animals, gets busy also with cleaning, cooking and the rest of housekeeping. We are a poor family living in the village and our needs are many. We live with very low income. I am happy that I receive help and care from the program of Adopt a Child. I go to the Bible classes of the program where I learn about the Lord and I receive help in food every time that they get delivered at our program center. The church of the program has done many activities for the children, youth and ladies. I enjoy frequenting the Bible classes where I spend time learning about God and fellowshipping with other friends who are same age with me. I am thankful from my heart for the spiritual and physical care you are offering to me. God bless you richly and in abondance.
