My Story

Hello! I hope you are being blessed together with your loved ones. My name is Juan Israel. I tell you that I started to attend school this year, and I was in 1^st grade; I studied in the mornings. The school year has ended, so I now stay at home playing soccer and doing some chores. The food, medicine and presents I have received at the feeding program have been a great blessing for my family and me. I love the lunches, and my favorite ones are fried chicken and chicken stew. I love Christmas time, especially the celebration held at the program because I receive a special present and the staff prepares different dramas for us. I am in good health, and I turned 7 last July.

We have pigs and corn and black bean crops for our consumption. My mother works hard to cover our needs. She works in a tortillas business in Guatemala City, so my maternal grandmother takes care of me. She is 72 years old and makes baskets to sell. Please pray for my mother’s job and my grandmother’s health. We are now members of New Covenant Prince of Peace Church, and we have put our faith and trust in God; we are very grateful to Him. My grandma helped me to write you this letter, and I hope you find it interesting. I send you many hugs full of blessings.
