My Story

I fondly greet you in the name of Jesus, hoping this letter finds you healthy. My full name is Misheyli Oyenda Samantha de la Cruz Gutierrez, and I am 6 years old. I want you to know that I am in kindergarten. This has been a very exciting experience. I am still not able to write by myself, so I asked my mother and a member of the LW staff for help. I want you to know that God has taken care of my family and me because we have not gotten sick so far. I love my mother because she does her best for my sister and me. She taught me that Jesus is our savior.

To support our family, she works hard as a domestic employee. She sometimes travels to the city and works there for about three months. While she is in the city, my grandmother takes care of us. Her name is Catarina. I want to share that I made a good friend a while ago. Her name is Mildred, and she loves playing soccer as I do. It is almost time to say goodbye, but I want you to know that LW has been a blessing for us. We still do not attend church, so a member of the evangelism team shared a verse with my mother as an encouragement. Please pray for us.
