I hope you are having a wonderful day. This is Delia, and I want to tell you a little about me. I live with my family in a village called Xoljib’. My paternal grandparents live next to our house, and one of my brothers goes to sleep with them in order to keep them company. Their names are Rosario and Mariano, and they are in their seventies. They are healthy, but there are times that they suffer from body pain due to their age; they only take pills to relieve the pain. My father works as a farmer and day laborer while my mother works hard at home; she raises hens and sells them to improve our income.
I am in 2nd grade this year, and I am happy for that. I am now 9 years old, and thankfully, I am in good health. I am grateful to God because I have felt His presence in my life. I identify with my mother, and I like doing the household chores with her. My cousin, Claudia Marisol, is also my friend, and we enjoy playing dolls together. As a family, we attend a Methodist Church, and we enjoy it when there is a First Fruit Service. I end my letter asking God to bless you in a great way.
Sincerely yours
Delia Floridalma Maribel Jimon de la Cruz
