My Story

Good Afternoon, how are you? My full name is Jose Israel Elias Morente Gomez and I have wonderful news for you about my father. He returned to our home 9 months ago. He is living with us again, but he is working in Guatemala City by carrying heavy packages for others. Fortunately, he visits us every two months and he brings money to cover our needs. He stays at home for one or two weeks and then he returns to his job. My mother dedicates herself to taking care of our family and she also does the chores. Thankfully, my whole family and I are doing well.

We attend the Prince of Peace Christian Church and we fast for God. We are secure in our salvation because Jesus is living in our hearts. My mother is asking for your prayers for my family. She gave this information to the LW teacher just for you. I like the music from my church and I would like to be part of the praise band to serve God. I am 9 years old and I am repeating 1^st grade for the second time this year. I prefer cold weather because I like to wear my warm sweaters. I like to look after the crops. I have attended the Bible classes from the Feeding Program for four years, and I like to pray there. My mother registered me because it is a nice place where many children are blessed with benefits for free. She is grateful for the support I receive. Thank you for your attention.
