Hello! It is a great blessing for me to be part of the feeding program from Living Water. My name is Roni Armando de la Cruz Barrera. I am a 9-year-old boy. My family and I attend Pentecostal Prince of Peace Church; we enjoy participating in all activities to feel God´s presence. Jesus already resides in my mother's heart. My mother is a housewife and raises hens, pigs and cows. She also weaves and works as a day labor. My father does farm work, and he is still in the United States and sends economic support for my young siblings. However, he does not want to communicate with my mother. 

This year I am back at school, and I am repeating second grade. I go out to collect firewood after school. My friend is Walter, we enjoy playing football. We have been friends for four years. Let me tell you once, my family and I went to a river, and I was excited because I wanted to learn how to swim. I was afraid to get into the water, but it was the only way to learn, so I had to trust in God, who would take care of me. He did, and it was a wonderful experience for me. Jesus is my savior. The person I admire is my mom; she is a brave and strong woman. Thanks to God, my family and I are healthy. I hope you enjoy my letter.
