My Story

It is a great blessing for me to send my greeting in the name of Jesus hoping you are doing great! I am Arlett Ester Flores Tuluxan, and I recently turned 5 years old. I am in Pre-kindergarten; my classes are on the morning shift. I like coloring and drawing and I take time to do it freely on weekends. My father is the one who supplies the family´s expenses; he is working in a hotel in the reception area. My mother does the housework and looks after the family.

Something I love at Christmas is the activity that the evangelism teachers prepare for all children; the meeting and sharing with my friends and staff is very special. I like to attend the feeding program because the team make us feel welcome and give us love; I am so delighted to go. In addition, it is a great help for my family. The meal I love to have in the feeding program is the fried chicken. We attend a Christian Church called Basan Hill; my parents, one sister and I have welcomed Jesus into our hearts. My sisters and I sing in the praise group at church. LW staff encouraged us to continue seeking God; we appreciate the advice.

I would like you to pray for my family and especially for my health. Let me share a little about me; I was born early and since then, my lungs have been weak and I get sick with strong flu very often. I also had an umbilical hernia and I had surgery when I was too young. I suffer from hives and then those become sores. My mother took me to the doctor in the past and they said that it might be a consequence of the strong medicines I receive when I was a baby. Recently, my mother took me to the LW´s doctor and she ordered some labs and tests to get an accurate diagnosis and find an effective treatment. Nevertheless, my family do not have enough resources to pay for them, and because of that I beg for your prayers for me. We trust in God and his mercy to us. Fortunately, the rest of my family is doing well. I want to let you know that my mother Yelmin gave this information to the LW staff to share with you; I hope you like my letter.
