It is lovely to say hello to you through this letter. My full name is Maycol Jared Morente Ruiz. I am writing this letter with the help of my grandmother and a teacher of the LW evangelism team. How are you doing? By the grace of the Lord, I am in good health. I am 8 years old, and I attend school in the morning. I am in first grade this year. I usually stay home on weekends, so I take advantage of playing with my toys. I live with my father and grandparents. Unfortunately, my mom is not part of my life because she left our family a few years ago. My father works hard and does his best for my grandparents and me. He is in good health and works as a tuk-tuk taxi driver. We have a few cows and grow corn at home for our consumption.
My family and I attend the Prince of Peace Christian Church. My father accepted Jesus as his Savior many years ago, and since then, he has tried to seek the Lord. Let me tell you that a member of the LW evangelism team talked with my grandmother about Jesus recently. He also encouraged her to continue strengthening her faith at church. My whole family and I are grateful to the Lord because this project has blessed me with medical and dental care. Besides that, I can enjoy delicious food at the feeding program. My favorite food is fried chicken. Last year, I celebrated Christmas at the feeding program for the first time. What I enjoyed the most was receiving a lovely Christmas gift. I will leave you now, but I ask you to pray for my whole family and me. May the Lord reward your charity and prayers!
In the name of Jesus,
Maycol Jared Morente Ruiz
