My Story

I am sending warm greetings through this and I hope you are doing great! I am Kevin Fernando Gomez Arias, and I will turn 9 years old in June of this year. I attend 3^rd grade and my classes are on the morning shift. I enjoy playing ball with my cousins after I finished my homework. My mother does the housework and takes care of my sister and me. My stepfather is working in a plant nursery and is in charge of watering; he is giving us financial support. I do not have communication with my biological father because he abandoned us; we do not know anything about him. My family is doing well, and even though I have a hernia, I am fine and I do not take medicines for it.

Let me tell you I love the meal I receive in the feeding program during the Christmas activity. It is a great blessing for me to receive medical care and delicious meals; my favorite food is black beans. When I am a little older, I would like to become a volunteer in the feeding program; it is a very special service they do. My family and I attend a Christian Church called King of Nations; my mother, stepfather and I have accepted Jesus in our hearts. We appreciate the kind and encouraging words that the LW team gave us to continue attending Church. I want you to pray for my family and our economy so we can have our daily provision.
