My Story

Hello! How are you? This is Junior, and I am happy to write you this letter. I want to tell you about my family and me. We have stopped attending church, so LW Evangelism team shared the gospel with us and encouraged us to seek God. We hope to do it again soon. We have hens at home, and we grow corn and black beans for the family consumption. At the moment, our greatest needs are groceries and clothes. My father’s name is Calletano, and he is 41 years old. He is in good health, and he works as a farmer and day laborer in the town; he also goes to pick coffee beans at the coast for three months. My mother’s name is Juana, and she is 31 years old. She is a housewife and takes care of the family.

My full name is Junior Ivan Tzoy Benito, and I am 9 years old. I am repeating 1st grade, and I am happy to receive face-to-face classes because it is easier to do the homework. Thankfully, my parents do their best to cover my school supplies. I want to become a good mason when I am older. I speak Quiche dialect as my first language, so I have to improve my Spanish. I really love to receive a present (like a ball) when it is my birthday. I am healthy, and my favorite sport is soccer. I enjoy Christmas time because I eat “tamales”. I like drinking coffee. Living Water and you are very important to me, and I am grateful for all the support received. May God bless you!

All the best

Junior Ivan Tzoy Benito
