My Story

Hello! I want to start this letter praying that the peace of the Almighty be with you. This is Angel Felipe Jimon Calachij, and I am pleased to share that my father came back to Guatemala last year. He was in the United States for a few years, and I missed him so much. His return made me feel God’s love and fidelity. What made me the happiest child was celebrating Christmas and burning firecrackers with him. Fortunately, my whole family and I are healthy. My father is dedicated to farming the land and working for our neighbors, while my mother takes care of our family. The one whom I identify with the most is my oldest sister, Gregoria, because we are very similar both in personality and physically.

If you ask me who Jesus is to me, I would say He is my Savior and helper. As proof His fidelity, I am a healthy 10-year-old boy. I am in third grade. My best friend’s name is Wilson. We have been friends for many years. We usually get together to play soccer. I attend the Catholic church alongside my family. We enjoy attending Mass, especially when our siblings in Christ thank God for all the blessings they receive, like their harvest. It is time to say goodbye, but I hope to hear about your life next time. Have a lovely day!
