My Story

Hello! This is Angel Felipe Jimon Calachij and I am 8 years old.  It is a pleasure to tell you some news about my family and me. Actually, we continue attending the Catholic Church every Monday. When LW staff collected this information, they shared the gospel with us and encouraged us to continue seeking God. My mother is Hilaria Calachij Garcia, and she is 35 years old. She is a housewife. Moreover, she raises domestic animals like hens and sheep for selling to get some income. In addition, we grow corn and black beans for our consumption. My father is Pedro Jimon Simaj and he is 38 years old. This year, he continues working in the United States. His job consists in washing dishes in a Restaurant. By the grace of God my parents, siblings, and I are in good health.

Thankfully, this year I am starting school, I receive face-to-face classes and I am in 1^st. grade. I enjoy studying in this way because I learn easier. My parents are doing their best to support me at school. Nowadays, school supplies are expensive and it is very hard for them to cover the expenses.  When I grow up, I would like to travel to the United States and work with my father. I love Christmas time because we light fireworks. I enjoy drinking strawberry juice.  For my birthday day, I enjoy spending time with my family. My favorite sport is soccer. Let me tell you that my family is so grateful to you and to LW for the blessings and support that I have received. We are a great and humble family, our priority needs are corn, groceries, and clothing.  May God bless you!
