My Story

Hello! thank you for reading my personal information. I am Jose Daniel Elias de la Cruz Chingo, and my current age is 9 years old. Thank God, my family and I are healthy. My family and I are attending Prince of Peace Church on Fridays. We thank Living Water team because they share the gospel with us; we trust our Salvation in God. My stepfather is Francisco, and his age is 38 years old. He makes a living by working as a bricklayer and is the one who supplies our home expenses. My mother is Rebeca, and her age is 31 years old. She is a housewife and raises hens. My biological father passed away years ago.

This is my first year at school and I am in first grade; I am learning a lot in my classes. Since my stepfather is the only one who works. He does not always have enough money to cover all our school expenses, clothes, and some money to buy a snack at school. When I am older, I would like to become a teacher. My favorite drink is "horchata" (it is a drink made with blended rice, cinnamon and sugar); it is delicious. Among all sports, my favorite is football. Something that I love to do on my birthday is to break a “piñata” (it is a kind of puppet full of candies); it is so fun. I like Christmas time because my stepfather buys some firecrackers to light at night. My family and I are so grateful to LW because the plate of meals I receive is a great support for us. At home our main needs are corn and groceries. Take care. Many blessings!
