My Story

May the grace of the Lord be with you! I am writing this letter to update you about my life. I hope this finds you doing well. My full name is Jeferson Keylor Chumil Gomez, and I am 9 years old. I attend school as a second grader in the morning. I enjoy playing with my friends, so we usually gather on weekends. Thankfully, I am in good health. Now, let me tell you about my family. As you know, my father abandoned my siblings and me some years ago. However, he started to get involved in our lives. He phones and helps us economically. He told us that he works in a grocery store. He is in good health. My mom works by washing clothes for our neighbors. She is also a farmer. She cultivates corn for our consumption. Fortunately, she is in good health. I ask you to pray for my sister Daysi since she was diagnosed with axillar adenopathy on the right side.

I also would love to count on your prayers for my oldest brother. He is a hardworking boy who travels every day to another town. In advance, thank you so much! My family and I attend Prince of Peace Pentecostal Church. My older sisters serve as sub-secretary and sub-treasurer at a young group at church. My mom also serves at church as a deaconess. I am grateful to LW for being on the lookout for our spiritual life. Someone on the staff encouraged my mom and me to continue trusting in God. Being part of Adopt a Child-LW has been a great blessing. I can enjoy delicious food and receive medicine for free at the clinics. My favorite food is fried chicken. I like getting involved in all the activities at the feeding program. Therefore, I would like to be part of the volunteer team at LW. Thank you so much for trusting in this project! I say goodbye to you now, but I hope to hear from you soon.

Special regards,

Jeferson Keylor Chumil Gomez
