My Story

Hello! My full name is Jeferson Keylor Chumil Gomez and it is such a blessing to greet you through this letter. I am 11 years old and I will tell you a little about my life. I hope you enjoy reading my information. I am in fourth grade and I am in good health. I have attended the feeding program for about seven years. I like receiving Bible lessons before having lunch because they help me to learn more about God. At home, I usually help to do the chores. I prefer cold weather rather than hot and I would like to serve in the worship band of my church as a singer. I attend the Prince of Peace Church alongside my mother and sister. I am pleased to tell you that my mother gave her life to Jesus, so she has assurance of being admitted into heaven.

Could you please pray for my mother? She has been the main supporter of my family, but it has been difficult for her to take care of us because of work. Fortunately, she is healthy and makes a living as a domestic employee. While she works, my siblings and I stay home under the care of my aunt. Unfortunately, I have not heard anything about my father since he abandoned us about twelve years ago. Despite ups and downs, God has been merciful with us. Proof of his loving care is that we have received many benefits at the feeding program. My mother enrolled me there because she wanted me to have delicious meals and receive a Christmas gift just like she did when she was a child. She told me that that after having lunch, she received Bible lessons where she heard nice stories about Jesus. It is time to say goodbye, but I send you all my best wishes.
