My Story

I greet you cordiallyhoping you are doing fine alongside your loved family. I want to share some news about my family and me through this letter. I am Nehemias Natanael Luis Toj and I am 5 years old. I want to let you know that we are attending the Catholic Church every Wednesday. We thank the LW evangelism team for their encouraging words during the visit. So, as a family, we believe in Jesus. As you know, I am not in school because of my young age, but my dream is to go to study soon. I spend the time playing with toy cars and balls. My native language is the Quiche Mayan dialect, so I would like to learn Spanish and improve my communication with others. My favorite celebration of the year is “New Year” because we light fireworks. I like to drink “mosh” (a hot drink made with oatmeal). Among sports, I like soccer. What I like to have for my birthday is a delicious cake. I want to let you know that my family and I are in good health.

My mother`s name is Marcela Toj Benito. She is 27 years old. Nowadays, she continues doing chores at home. In addition, she is raising hens and pigs to sell and get some income. My father`s name is Cesar Luis Panjoj. He is 34 years old. At the moment, he continues working as a farmer and day laborer. We grow corn for our consumption. As a humble family, our current need is firewood. We are grateful to Living Water because we have been blessed with meals, medical and dental, and spiritual support. I want to say thank you for the Christmas gift that I receive at the end of the year. I hope you like to read my letter.  Sending all my love to you. Every blessing to you!
