My Story

I hope this letter finds you happy and healthy. I am so glad to have you as my sponsor! I greet you in the name of Jesus. This is your sponsored child, Karina Yohana Mishel Garcia Jimon. I turn 12 years old in July. I am a fifth-grade student. I have the privilege to be part of the feeding program for seven years. What I like best is learning Bible verses. I am a healthy girl. I help my mother to sweep and wash clothes. I love cold weather. I would like to sing at church. I want to tell you that I am suffering from nervous gastritis. I do not take medicine for lack of money.

I have a wonderful and hardworking family. They are in good health, thank God. Even though, my father does not live with us, we are a blessed family. Currently, he has a new family. However, he visits us every month and gives us money to cover our main needs. I love my mother because she stays at home taking care of us and delights us with her delicious food. She earns a living raising and selling hens and turkeys. I would like to ask for your prayers for my mother´s health because she suffers from nerves. Unfortunately, she has not visited the doctor due to lack of resources. My mother told us about when she attended the feeding program in her childhood. It was a big blessing for her family. My family goes to a Catholic Church. When we go there, we feel like we are part of a family. May God bless each one who makes the feeding program possible.
