My Story

I greet you in the name of Jesus hoping you are fine alongside your loved ones. I appreciate the gospel and the encouraging words that LW staff shared with me this time. For now, we do not attend any church, but I pray that my parents look for a church to attend and accept Jesus in our hearts. By the grace of God, I am in good health and so is my family. My father is Cesar Augusto Giron, and he is 45 years old. He makes a living by driving cars for Living Water. My mother is Rocio del Carmen Barrios, and she is 45 years old. She is a nurse and helps my father with the expenses. We raise cows to sell and get some income. At home, we grow corn and black beans for our consumption.

This is Blanca Sofia Giron Barrios, and my current age is 9 years old. I am in 2^nd grade; my learning is better since I receive classes at school. Fortunately, my parents can support me at school. My native language is Spanish, and I would like to learn to speak Kiche´ Mayan dialect. I think it is very interesting. My desire is to learn how to sing. I like drinking water because it is healthy. I love winter, and I enjoy playing in the rain. I like to play football in my free time; it is the sport I like the most. On my birthday, I like to play with my friends and then, we share a delicious cake. Being part of the feeding program is a great blessing for me because I learn about Jesus. At home, the main need for us is groceries. I send much love hoping to receive news from you soon. Many blessings!
