My Story

It is my pleasure to say hello to you in this opportunity and I trust that our Lord is blessing you! Praise the Lord my family and I attend House of Prayer Church; we go on Sundays. This time LW staff shared the gospel with us and encouraged us to continue seeking God. My family and I are in good health, thanks to the Lord. My mother is Marta Victoria Valle Gordian, and she is 29 years old. Most of the time she stays busy with the duties at home. My father is Ervin Manuel Monroy Ortiz, and he is 52 years old. He does carpenter work and is supporting our family.

I am Katerin Dayana Monroy Valle, and I am a 10-year-old girl. I am a fourth-grade student; I receive classes at school which is better for my learning. And, I also can play with my classmates. Because my father does not earn much, it is hard for him to support me at school and buy what I need. My desire is to continue with my studies and become a lawyer; hopefully, I will achieve my goal someday. I would like to learn English; I think it is a very interesting language. I get so happy when my birthday comes because my family celebrates with a cake; they make me feel so special. I want to tell you that I love summer because I enjoy sunny days. I like sodas, especially Coca-Cola which is my favorite one. Playing football is so much fun; it is my favorite sport. My family and I are thankful and so happy for all the support that I receive through Living Water; it is so helpful for my parents especially because our economy is not good.  For now, the top priorities for us are clothes.
