It is my pleasure to greet you through this and I hope you and your lovely family are fine!
My family and I attend Catholic Church; we go on Fridays. We trust our salvation in God, and we appreciate the encouraging words that LW staff gave us this time. We all are in good health, by the grace of God. My mother’s name is Teresa de la Cruz Garcia, and her current age is 27 years old. She does the housework and raises hens and pigs to sell to contribute to the income. My father´s name is Genaro Hernandez Mechen, and his current age is 29 years old. He works as a construction helper to supply our needs. At home, we harvest corn, bananas, and oranges for our consumption.
This is Kevin Adolfo Hernandez de la Cruz, and I am 9 years old. I attend 3rd grade; I enjoy being in a classroom with my classmates. It is hard for my father to supply what I need for school because he does not earn much, and moreover, he has to cover the home expenses. I want to study to become a fireman and serve my community. The language I would like to learn is English because it is very interesting for me. About sports, let me tell you that my favorite is basketball. I wait anxiously for Christmas time; I light some firecrackers and my family prepares “tamales” (a typical dish). Let me tell you that my favorites drinks are oatmeal and “incaparina” (a hot drink made of black beans flour); those are delicious. Someday, I would like to receive a birthday gift; it must be fantastic. I am so blessed to attend and receive meals for free in the feeding program; I thank God for allowing me to be part of the program. At home, our needs are food and clothes. Sending much love. Many and abundant blessings to you!
Best wishes,
Kevin Adolfo Hernandez de la Cruz
