My Story

Good morning, this is Santos Mejia Gonzalez and I greet you cordially. I want you to know that my maternal grandmother is grateful for every benefit I receive from LW Adopt-A-Child in the Feeding Program. I like to attend my Bible classes because I sing to God there. Thank you for the medicines, delicious meals and Christmas gift.

I am in good health. I am 7 years old and unfortunately, I am repeating the 1^st grade. I like to play with toy cars and I enjoy going to the river during hot days. My favorite weather is hot. I continue persevering in the Catholic Church along with my family. We like to listen to the beautiful songs for God and this is the main reason to attend. The LW teacher prayed for protection from God over my family because my grandmother asked for this during the visit. She gave this information and we are assured of our salvation in Jesus because he lives in our hearts and we will be in heaven someday. It is our hope.

My maternal grandparents take care of us since my mother went to the United States. Thankfully, they are doing well and my mother covers our financial needs by sending money every month. She also calls us every 2 days. She lives with my stepfather and she is the only one that supports us. She works in a chicken farm. My grandfather earns a living as a farmer and my grandmother dedicates her time to the household duties. My uncles and cousins also live in the house and they share the expenses with my mother. This was my updated information and I send you all my love from the bottom of my heart!
