My Story

This is Jonathan Denilzon, and it is a pleasure to share with you my last news. I hope this letter finds you doing well. Let me tell you that my family and I are grateful to you and LW because of all the material and spiritual support that we have received. For instance, the staff has treated us with kindness. We do not attend any church now, but I hope it might change soon. My father could listen to the gospel thanks to a teacher of the evangelism team. The teacher used that moment to collect all my news for you. Let me tell you that my parents work hard to support our family. My father, Luis Antonio Hernandez, is 37 years old. He makes a living by delivering pieces of bread and my mother makes a living as a domestic employee. Her name is Rosa Azucena Lopez and she is 27 years old. I would love to count on your prayers for my family’s health, especially for my dad. He suffers from prediabetes, but takes medicines to keep stable. By the way, I have an uncle with special needs. His name is Carlos Chuni and he is stable despite his condition.

I just turned seven years old and I am a healthy boy. This year, I am attending school as a kindergartener because of my age. I prefer to receive face-to-face classes because I learn the lessons much better. My parents do their best to provide me all the school supplies I need. However, it is sometimes complicated for them to buy food. I would love to become a policeman and speak English when I am older. My favorite season is summer because I love going to the beach. Eating delicious cakes and breaking piñatas (those are typical birthday puppets made of wire and colorful tissue paper), are things that I enjoy doing to celebrate my birthday. My favorite drinks are fruit juices and I like soccer. I say goodbye now, but I hope to hear your news soon. May God bless you!

Affectionally,

Jonathan Denilzon Hernandez Lopez
