My Story

This is Magdalena Larios Luis, and I am writing this to update my 2023 information. First, I will tell you about my family. We are members of Full Gospel Church, and we attend the services twice a week. LW Evangelism team shared the gospel with us, and it helped us to be assured of our salvation. We have hens at home, and we grow corn for the family consumption. We are a humble family, and our needs are groceries, shoes and clothes. My father’s name is Sebastian. He is 29 years old, and he is in good health. He works as a day laborer in our town and covers our needs. My mother’s name is Juana. She is 29 years old, and she is in good health too. She works hard at home and takes care of us.

Now let me tell you a little about myself. I am 11 years old, and I am healthy. I am in fifth grade, and I am happy to receive face-to-face classes because I learn more. It has been difficult for my parents to cover my school expenses because they do not earn much money. I want to have my own store when I am older. My favorite celebration is Christmas because we prepare “tamales and ponche”. I enjoy breaking a” piñata” when it is my birthday. I prefer soccer as a sport, and I love drinking strawberry juice. I want to improve my Spanish since I speak Quiche dialect as my first language. Living Water is very important in my life because I am blessed with delicious food. I hope to hear from you soon.
