My Story

This is Magdalena Saquic Gomez, and I am writing this to update my 2023 information. First, I will tell you about my family. We are members of Assembly of God Church, and we attend the services three times a week. LW Evangelism team has shared the gospel with us, and we are grateful for their words. We raise hens, pigs and turkeys, and we grow corn; all this is for our consumption. We also grow onions and coriander, and we sometimes sell them. We are a humble family, and our needs are groceries and corn. I live with my grandparents. My grandfather’s name is Domingo. He is 44 years old, and he is in good health. He works as a day laborer five days per week to support the family. My grandmother’s name is Magdalena. She is 34 years old, and she is in good health too. She tends her own grocery store.

Now let me tell you a little about myself. I am 12 years old, and I am healthy. I am in 6th grade, and I am happy to receive face-to-face classes because I learn more. Thankfully, my grandparents are supporting me with my studies. I want to work in a bank when I am older. My favorite celebration is Christmas because I can share with my family and eat “tamales”. I enjoy my birthday because my grandparents celebrate it. I prefer soccer as a sport, and I love drinking sodas like Coca-Cola. I would like to learn English language someday. Living Water is very important in my life because I have the opportunity to receive a plate of food twice a week. I hope to hear from you soon.

All the best
